whoo! i just had some of my latest brew..1 glass..and i'm smashed. im kinda broke and have no car so i tried to brew a beer with my mom's kitchen supplies? lol. only a genius like me can try to sythesize beer from household products. beer is made from barley...they boil it to extract the sugars then yeast takes over ..(in a nut shell)..but my my mom had barley tea? hmm? so the idea goes i get that barley flavor from the tea, and sugars else where...honey, brown sugar? then what about the bittering hops to balance flavor and help keep the beer...well before hops were used people used to used other bittering herbs...i.e sage, chamomile....you get the picture...and i re-used yeast from my last batch..afterall it's a living organism..ha, ha ..i feel like a mad scientist..also i was reading a book called sacred herbs and healing beers..for inspiration and reference...i wanted to call it Dr. Unk's Cure-All Ale....dr. unk..for drunk...but after tasting it ...i guess with very little barley tea and a bunch of honey ..it taste like mead? so i wanna call it now sacred steed mead...
ps i used other herbs as well and an apple, banana, and rasins, plus ginger root
i have everything which i need
a woman all dressed in beads
with a jug of her sacred mead
i have everything which i need
i have everything which i need
my valiant and trusty steed
with my knife that makes the spirits bleed
i have everything which i need
i have everything which i need
a peace pipe made of reed
with a pouch of wild weed
i have everything which i need
i have everything which i need
the sun hawk who takes the lead
and gives advice that i heed
i have everything which i need
i have everything which i need
a spirit that knows no greed
waiting for that sacrificial deed
i have everything which i need

the well of rememberance
currently reading Sacred and Herbal Healing Beers very interesting book, also i've been tasting my tesguino which is corn beer which i made from corn that i germinated and milled myself...the title came from the book the song came from ...?
btw this is an updated vid. it's me tasting my jailhouse hooch...it's actually pretty good. at first i was confused by the taste but i never had bluberry OJ wine b4..btw2 jailhouse hooch maybe healthier than store beacouse it has live yeast which is packed with all kinds beneficial nutrients, and they are with out additives that are common now. CHEERS!
let us drink from the well of rememberance
sacred herbs and grain
water of life became
that quenches the dry old paint
and bends the picture frame
slowly numbing away
i begin to feel
remembering yesterday
reality wasn't real
the song bird has a tiny drink
then tweets his simple tune
an overture to the dreams
that brings along the moon
the kiln it burns hotter
the clay shapes the potter
who throws an ancient stein
(to be)filled with nectar wine
'twas at least one hundred years
since the angel whispered in my ear
last night i wrote down her poem
to give these poor words a home
let us drink to the well of rememberance

this old guitar
Well i figured that i probably wouldn't ever get my guitar on the radio, so i put my radio in my guitar. Well actually it wasn't my radio anymore but my brother Gabriel's, who owned that junk car that used to be mine. But he let me have the radio and speaker.
The car radio runs on 12 volts so i just soldered an old ac/dc adapter to the radio, and used a jigsaw, and a power drill to do the rest. I never hooked up an antenna so the reception sucked, and all i could pick up was 1260am. And that was ok, because it used to be an oldie station, but now the guitar just lays around and gently weeps.

meet winona!
Meet Winona or "wine-ona". Yes she's my wine rack mannequin, and not my girlfriend, like in the movie Lars and the real girl, as my sister likes to say. She wasn't the only one to say such things, cuz even my ex threatened to throw a beer bottle at poor winona when we were breaking up.
The crazy idea to make a wine rack out of a mannequin came to me one night in a dream, but I never had any intention of letting this looney idea turn into an actual piece of furniture in my apartment. Until one day I had a bit too much brandy, which afterall is distilled wine, and accidentally ordered the mannequin. Costing me well over a hundred dollars.
I sent it to my parents house because I wasn't at my apartment that often, and there is always someone there. When it finally arrived my parents asked my sisters what the package was, and they explained to my parents my insane ideas. Well my parents rolled their eyes and I forgot what they said exactly but they weren't comments of approval.
I wasn't sure how I was going to make it happen but I knew I needed a special saw or something that my dad had. So I drove to his airplane hangar and timidly asked for his help, and told him what I was trying to acomplish. To my surprise he was very helpful and seemed to enjoy measuring winona's breast in order to get the right drill attatchment.
Then I took it back to my parent's house and asked my sisters for old clothes so that I could dress her. My sisters brought an old skirt, an old sweater, and some leg stockings. As I dressed her I was struggling putting on the stockings and my Mother saw this and said,"No, no not like that. Let me do it." So what started out as a crazy idea turned out to be some sort of wacky family project? Well, time for a glass of wine. Ooh...pleasant aroma,...lovely body,... and a little perky.
